iii. Delivery by July 15th: Equipment we have purchased for the FD in the past (i.e. pond filter, pumps).
iv. Delivery by August 15th: Food drive/food pantry; Scholarship with photo stuff

8. Needed equipment for the fire department. Dave asked if there were any unmet needs of the fire department that also need help from LVFA funding. Cindy will ask next Thursday.

LVFA Meeting Minutes, 2 April, 2025
Present: Llsa V, Lisa W, Ken WI Tamara S, Peggy W, Jim G, Heather M, Scott M, Cindy A Bryan W, Deb L
Bryan called the meeting to order at 6:07
1 Meeting minutes from March: Jim G moved to approve meeting minutes, Lisa V seconded - motion carried.
2 Treasurer's report: Jim gave the treasurer's report. Jim noted we need to update the membership roster The scholarships were awarded - following the scholarships awards, about 9K is left available for future scholarships. Lisa W moved to accept, Lisa V moved to second - motion carried.
3 Community Service:
- a. Food drive - April 12th. Scott will accept the food at the pantry. Lisa V will post on the LOL site. Jim G will put signs out.
ii. Community park: Jim will help in the PM, Suzanne and Lee, Peggy will help In the AM.
iii. Jim G will get the banner for Perry Park.
iv. If there is a weather event - we will reschedule.
- b. Make-A-Wish Event. Not scheduled currently.
- c. 4th of July parade: we won't know when they are doing the parade. We will volunteer to help with traffic when we find out what day it is.
- 4 Scholarship program: We have selected three scholarship recipients. All recipients have been informed. We would like take a picture and do an article in the sentinel to advertise what we were investing in Jim will check with recipients. The sentinel article will be on scholarships in May.
- 5 Fundraising
- a. Pancake breakfast May 10th. The April meeting will be focused on the pancake meeting schedule. We need to do an inventory of what is in the trailer prior to the April meeting. We moved from Feb to April because of the potential of bad weather. We will review the sausage volume to get earlier demand to Sarah's sausage
ii. We will not put Butter and Syrup on every table - they will be on the serving table.
iii. Ken and Llsa will do the shopping
iv. Jim made a motion that we give Sara's Sausage a plaque for the Support of the LVFA Lisa W second. Motion carried.
- b. Music in the Park For Music in the park - Jim will announce what we do on stage. We simply collect donations during music in the park. The chamber has confirmed we are good for June 13th. Peggy will get loaner helmets for donation collection.

- 8. Primitive camping: Heather made a motion to put the letter opposing the primitive camping on 'hold". Lisa W seconded. Motion carried. We will wait to see if there is any official proposal before we send a letter to disagree.

- 10. New Business: Bryan, Jim, Lisa, Deb attended firewise meeting.
- a. Perry Park metro District has funds for mitigation grants.
